Dr. Shane Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Well, I can watch a couple of different cable news programs or Earnest Saves Christmas. Trouble is, this is July. Why are there Christmas movies on in July? Shouldn't that be illegal? Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity

Dr. Shane Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 I think that is a greater offense than leaving the Christmas lights on the house all year long. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Richard Holbrook Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Why are there Christmas movies on in July? Shouldn't that be illegal? I thought it was illegal. I haven't seen any here, but then I've got the Fox News Channel tuned in. Quote

Members phkrause Posted July 30, 2009 Members Posted July 30, 2009 Hey dgrimm and Shane, I remember when years ago right after thanksgiving you knew that next was christmas. Than it started to be after halloween, than labor day and now its the 4th of july. Soon it will be memorial day and maybe further in the future, if Jesus doesn't come to get us in the meantime, they will skip all the other holidays. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. UUm...I am sorry to say, but the origionator of this topic "Christmas in July"...YOU hijacked this thread with a reference to FoxNews...and then your next post was about Hannity and Beck.... Sorry, but per Stan, political posts and references should be in the proper forum...As a Moderator [and moderators do have the right to help out fellow moderators from time to time], I would ask of you to follow Stan's suggestions... Dr. Shane Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 Well, I can watch a couple of different cable news programs or Earnest Saves Christmas. Glenn Beck, Nancy Grace, Lou Dobbs or whoever - pick your favorite cable news program and line it up against a Christmas movie in July. Hmmmmm, I guess if I paid more for my satellite service I would have more options. If 3ABN wouldn't have had their cooking program on, I would have tuned into that. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Richard Holbrook Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 How'd the name get changed from "Chistmas in July" to "TV Choices"? Quote

olger Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 We choose not to have a TV in our home. Does that count as a choice? It does cause some problems though. We actually have to talk to each other g Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
