We probably have a different view of what a racial slur is but aren't Beck and Rush giving a personal opinion?? They believe Obama is a racist. What constitutes racial slur to you if you ask someone concerning a racial topic You can't think anything else concerning Gates in some of the taped interviews he has previously given. Have you listened to the remarks (whitey)in previous interviews with Professor Gates? Now that couldn't possibly be meant in a damaging or demeaning way,could it? Just the fact that Obama knew a white police officer was guilty at the least of acting stupidly would never have passed muster in the reverse. If a white president had said "I don't know the details but officer(black) had behaved stupidly" would have had every black citizen of the US in a fury.
