CGMedley Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 That right. The Australian government has granted A$100 Million (about US$83 Million) to Adventist schools. Here's the rest of the story. http://www.adventistreview.org/article.php?id=2745 Quote

nuff sed Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Are the schools not concerned that the government may start to mandate Sabbath attendance? IMO When the government of any country decides that its education will be of a uniform standard it will not matter if the schools have been taking funds from the government or not. The only difference it will make is that "government-assisted" schools will have to decide whether to "knuckle under" or close sooner than those which have not accepted funds Quote
Woody Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Are the schools not concerned that the government may start to mandate Sabbath attendance? Would that be a problem for SDAs since we are attending on Sabbath anyways? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
