Woody Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I'm color-blind. But I still thought this was beautiful. http://www.greatdanepromilitary.com/Colors/index.htm Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted August 15, 2009 Author Posted August 15, 2009 Yes. I am most certainly color blind. Sometimes it seems like I can only see in black and white. It depends upon the shade and the color. For instance .... it is not safe for me to drive in town late at night. You know when the lights are flashing either Red or Yellow. I can only go by position during the day. But at night I have no idea if it is Red or Yellow. The same for when I travel behind a school bus. I just have to stop because I can't tell if it is Red or Yellow flashing Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted August 15, 2009 Author Posted August 15, 2009 Yes. I am a big challenge for my guardian angel. In more ways than one. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Members phkrause Posted August 15, 2009 Members Posted August 15, 2009 That was awesome Redwood. Color in most things is great, but black and white photography has its beauty also. I've always heard that dogs only see in b&w, but I would image that goes for all animals? Not sure why it would only be dogs? pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Woody Posted August 15, 2009 Author Posted August 15, 2009 Quote: I've always heard that dogs only see in b&w That would not apply to my dog. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Members phkrause Posted August 15, 2009 Members Posted August 15, 2009 hahaha that's a good one, and I do apologise to your dog Redwood. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Parade Orange Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 O thabku for that link! being a gay man whos flag is the rainbow i have grown to love colours more !!! God created colours to enjoy! and in fact the santuary is color cordinated to reveal certain truths! God has a throne that shines like an emerald(green) and water of Life flows out of it(blue) just like when u look at earth from afar- blue and green. In the City of GOD we see all the colours in the foundation topped with streets of GOLD. So beautiful! i chose my name cause Orange is one of y fav colours. i didnt care for orange growing up cause it seems in the seventies everything was burnt orange and avocado green. but in the last 10 years workin at a truckstop(where we have 2-3 thousand men coming and going in a 24 hour period) i started noticing guys coming in wearing orange road crew shirts and i would be transfixed with that bright dazzaling colour. Thats why i call myself Parade Orange! it lifts my spirits! P.S. my puter has many colourful nature scenes in it i have found on the web! Quote All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD"there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.
Woody Posted August 15, 2009 Author Posted August 15, 2009 Great! ... Parade Orange ... glad I could make your day. And thanks for the explanation of your name. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
