Neil D Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Ok, you are on a self imposed island of aloneness to ask God 3 questions....You have your bible, and you have plenty to eat and a place to rest without being subject to the elements. And you can stay there as long as you need... What questions would you ask and why? Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Neil D Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 Hmmmmmm......If you are on that island and it's "self imposed", that must mean you can leave anytime you want but you desired the answer to some questions.....So, the question of "when can I..." is NOT a proper question.....So, there must be other questions that need to be answered.... Just my take of the above scenerio....maybe you have another? Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
GreatLakesGramma Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Right now, I can only think of one question that has been bothering me from time to time, for a long time. I know there are others, but I can't think of them right now. 1. Why did Hebrew women have to offer a sin offering for having a baby? Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis
Twilight Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 1. Why do you love me so much? 2. Why don't you ever give up on me? 3. Why did you pick me of all sinners? Quote The best wisdom is always second hand...
Liz Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 1) What was the purpose of my life? 2) When are you coming back? 3) To be determined after I get the answers to the other two. Neil D Posted August 26, 2009 Author Posted August 26, 2009 In answer to the many questions that have come on here, I have asked God to answer these questions, and this is what He told me to tell you.....* Quote: 1. Why do you love me so much?2. Why don't you ever give up on me? 3. Why did you pick me of all sinners? In answer to Number 1, the answer is because I had you in mind when I created you. In answer to Number 2, because My Son did not give up.. In answer to Number 3, because you are of infinate value to Me. Quote: and last but not least, Why did Neil have to ask us this question? And last but not least, you will have to ask Neil that question and I don't believe that he is in that kinda mood to be informative right now....IOWs, it's a mystery to Me too..... *while answering for God is risky business at the very least, I have endevored to be as honest and as truthful as I possibly can be and with all the humor that is allowed on serious questions as these...This is not to say that I have accurately answered these questions, but I do believe they do offer the proper intent and goal....
