carolaa Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I never knew EGW used the S word. Actually, I thought that was more of a recently used word. Maybe it didn't mean quite the same thing back then as it does today. Quote
Woody Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Well .... In the context of this quote ... I would say it hasn't changed much. And I like the use of the word there. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
olger Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Excellent quote. To answer the question, I have been guilty. rejoice always, g Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Members phkrause Posted September 5, 2009 Members Posted September 5, 2009 Carolaa not sure any other word would fit more appropriately there. Other words would fit, put would be to mild in the context that she desired, I think. I don't think she ever minced words. Never would use profanity but strong words if need be. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
