olger Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Gerry Wagoner & lovely wife Nancy just returned from a big neighborhood bash. It was great. Except for getting pulled over by a patrol as we left said bash. I chuckled and told the officer, "you probably pulled over the only two people who were drinking water tonight." He let us off. Moral of the story: Drink more water! (and hurry) G Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Members phkrause Posted September 6, 2009 Members Posted September 6, 2009 I hope it was Poland Springs water. Imagine that, they were probably waiting for the party to let out and just stop anybody they felt like. I don't think legally that they can do that. Can they????? pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
ChildofChrist Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Yes, hurry. Before the bladder gets the better of the situation. lol Quote Wakan Tanka Kici Un ~~Child of Christ~~
Neil D Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 [pseudo-paranoia mode-on] What I find wrong is that Olger was mingling with non-adventists in a foreign neighborhood. And he didn't even talk to them about Christianity....No conversions resulted from that co-mingling...could it be that he's really a jesuit priest, passing out wine and magical bread? It is evident that the prostestant police were there to make sure that he toed the line.... [pseudo-paranoia mode-off] Guess I am kinda on a "paranoia" kick..... olger Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 A dash of bash. Pkrause - the solemn officer mumbled something about license plate bulb burnt out... That gave him an excuse to pull us over. Now normally, these officers are trained to look like they just ate a dill pickle, but he almost cracked a smile when I told him about the water. I also didn't have my driver's license or registration on me. But he let me off, presumably due to my water level. Now as to the bash. We spoke to Lieutenant Dickerson & his wife about the Lord, and also Johnny W. and his grouchy wife. You can rest easy knowing that the wagoners are on the front lines. g Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Neil D Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Hey, I can smile when I eat a dill pickle...no need to bad mouth pickles! As for your witnessing....by your own admission, your light is gone..... your "plate bulb burnt out"... I hearby dub you...the Jesuit Priest of ClubAdventist....winebibber!
