Woody Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 What are your favorite amalgamations? I will start us off with: Chocolate with any kind of nuts. Chocolate with peanut butter. Chocolate on ice cream. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Liz Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Fruit in ice cream---ice cream isn't supposed to be healthy. Chocolate covered coffee beans---this is just nasty. Lemon tea that comes in a can---this has a before--during--and after taste that is just so unlike anything else, it is just so unnatural, it needs to be stopped and stopped now before it shows up at any future family reunions. Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26Please, support the JDRF and help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Please, support the March of Dimes.
Woody Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 Good one Liz. Yes I know ice cream isn't suppose to be healthy. But then none of the amalgamations are suppose to be good for ya. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Guest Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Peanut butter and mustard. On a cracker. Don't knock it till you try it. Quote
Planey Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Chocolate covered coffee beans---this is just nasty. Not nasty at all. In fact chocolate and coffee flavours blend together very well. As in chocolates with coffee centres, hot mocha coffee drinks etc. Chocolate covered coffee beans are in fact delicious. Maybe not healthy, but delicious. SivartM Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Ketchup cookies. I just made these for the first time and they are quite interesting! SivartM Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 You can hardly taste the ketchup in them; they taste basically like ordinary cookies with a hint of ketchup. Tomatoes are a fruit, you know. I have a zucchini "apple" pie in the oven right now... I'm taking weird desserts to my friends' house tomorrow to surprise them! I made a sauerkraut chocolate cake the other day... Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. Members phkrause Posted September 23, 2009 Members Posted September 23, 2009 I have to agree Liz, anything with coffee flavor is sick. I still have not figured out what advantage there is to hot coffee. But give me chocolate ice cream or soy ice cream with any kind of fruit, yummy. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. GreatLakesGramma Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Do green smoothies count (as in bananas, strawberries, and spinach, for example)? nuff sed Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Does anyone still make the "apple pie" made with Ritz Crackers instead of apples? I guarantee that you will not be able to tell the difference. Quote
