Dottie Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I am thanking God for his patience and love. I was told recently that a close friend who has not been attending church regularly for some years is planning baptism. Within 48 hours of that news, I received a letter from a new daughter-in-law, whom I haven't met, praising God for His gracious love, and me for the way I raised my son. She says he is the most kind, considerate man she has ever known. It was such a good week. Quote
Members phkrause Posted October 19, 2009 Members Posted October 19, 2009 Awesome Dottie, Praise the Lord. I've been unemployed now for over a year and a half, and my unemployment benefits have run out. I did some work for a friend, who didn't know, and they gave me a nice sum of money to cover, plus a little more, of what I would've gotten from unemployment. Again Praise the Lord. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
