Brother, you're talking about South Africa, you can't imagine the issues, fortunately I'm close to the Eastern Cape conference president who is a wonderful person, so I have heard this one close by from the "horse's mouth" so to say. Its going to take another generation at least to get rid of the sin of apartheid in people, some people are still rather "attached" to the white-black issue, even if it is only in their minds and when people like that belong to conferences, church boards, etc, you get friction, which I assume is what brought the all court case issue to the forefront, then there are also financial matters, so it goes on and on. All in all the Lord oversaw it and the result was good! Anyway - I can't be more informative but I am talking as one of the members living in the midst of it all. Our church by the way, has of late had an influx of ethnic African members and the result is quite good I assure you. One other group is the Nelson Mandela Metropole University church, consisting almost entirely of students, all African as well, but a group that does us proud! I've been invited there to have a health talk, and for other occasions and was overwhelmed with their sincerity! Quote
