Woody Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I am accepting wagers (After Sabbath of course) on what date you think Shane will reach 20,000 posts. First come first serve. But once a date is taken ... someone else is not allowed to take it without written permission from the original taker of said date. Since I am not a legal minded or trained person. I will ask Tom to put it in legaleze that would stand any challenges from irate posters. Bring it on folks .... Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Members phkrause Posted October 31, 2009 Members Posted October 31, 2009 I'll say December 22nd. He only needs just over 200 posts, and he does post fairly regular. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Woody Posted October 31, 2009 Author Posted October 31, 2009 Yes. In order to have 20,000 ... one would have to post a lot. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted October 31, 2009 Members Posted October 31, 2009 The contest is rigged. Shane can post whenever he wishes thereby rendering objectivity obsolete since *he* can choose THE day. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody Posted October 31, 2009 Author Posted October 31, 2009 I will not be accepting wagers from Shane. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Administrators Gail Posted October 31, 2009 Administrators Posted October 31, 2009 I know how you can solve that problem. Just don't tell Shane! :) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted October 31, 2009 Author Posted October 31, 2009 Excellent idea Gail. Can everyone keep a secret? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted November 1, 2009 Author Posted November 1, 2009 Thanks dgrimm. Like Pam said ... it just would not be fair if he knew. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Woody Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 Well I guess I was off by more than a month. I agree Redwood, its very likely today is the day. pk But now that he knows ... he may just try to manipulate it so that we are proven wrong. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Members phkrause Posted November 13, 2009 Members Posted November 13, 2009 That could be very true Redwood. He is a sly devil when he wants to be. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Members phkrause Posted November 13, 2009 Members Posted November 13, 2009 I did say sly didn't I? and added devil to it. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
GreatLakesGramma Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Only one away right now. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. "To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you." -- C. S. Lewis
Dr. Shane Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I have been a member here since February 2002 and Redwood has been a member since December 2006. It looks like Redwood will be hitting the 20,000 mark in a few months. It has taken me 7 years 9 months to reach 20,000 and Redwood is on track to do it in 3 years 3 months - less than half that time. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
