Convenant Presbyterian Church held a service Sunday where worshippers were allowed to bring their dogs. There were doggie beds, prayers for ill pooches and treats were handed out at the offering. The Rev. Tom Eggebeen (EHG'-uh-bean) says he believes the strong connection between an owner and his or her dog is a form of God's love. Though some Christian beliefs hold that only human have souls and can be redeemed, more churches are exploring ways to engage serious pet lovers. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 COOL. I like this idea and will suggest it to my pastor. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

I think it would be a great idea....as long as the pooches-in-question were housebroken and well behaved..
