Hood.... a gunman walked into a business office in College Park (Orlando, Fl.) this morning and opened fire. One person died at the hospital and another five were wounded. I called my sergeant in the Sheriff's Office to see if they needed any Chaplains but he said that the Orlando Police Department had everything under control. They did indeed, They did it "by the book" and had the shooter in custody in a couple hours without a gun battle between him and them. Quote

Its amazing how out of control the world is getting dgrimm. pk When just starting my illustrious career (or notorious, depending on what the perception is) I recall that the assault of a woman by someone, was of so great import as to command a place in the middle of the monthly issue of Reader's Digest. Now if all criminal activity as heinous or more so, was given as much printed space, a book as large as NYC's telephone directory would have to be printed every month (week?), without comment. And people wonder why the government of the United States is in deep trouble. "Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34 KJV Since the Word, insofar as I know, doesn't specifically point out the United States as becoming a third world country, it doesn't take much depth of logic, to see Jesus' coming as just around the corner, although one text seems to belie that possibility, for a little while at least.
