Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 12, 2009 Members Posted November 12, 2009 Announcement sent to N. Calif. Conf. officials: “At the NAD Year-end Meetings we were shown a pre-release version of a new documentary called “The Adventists” that will premier on PBS next Easter weekend. This film, produced by religious filmmaker Martin Doblmeier, emphasizes the integration of our theology and health message. It features work being done at Loma Linda University, Kettering Health, Florida Hospital and our own St. Helena Hospital. Be watching for more details about this outstanding film.” Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Planey Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 For those of us who live in Outer Space (ie Australia), does anyone know which other cable channel might run PBS shows? National Geographic? Discovery? Discovery Science? Any ideas? Graeme Quote Graeme____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

LifeHiscost Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 For those of us who live in Outer Space (ie Australia), does anyone know which other cable channel might run PBS shows? National Geographic? Discovery? Discovery Science? Any ideas? Graeme Is it possible it could be accessed on the internet? Or perhaps googling it may turn up some links that will provide some access not thought of yet. I know recently we watched the Desmond Doss documentary on one or the other channels, 3ABN, LLBN, or Hope, and they continually advertise access on the net to their programs. And a thanks to you, RudyWoofs, for the notice. Blessings! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
