CGMedley Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 The Adventist leaders have appointed a review commission to probe the status of the church's distance-learning facility. Here's a report. http://www.adventistreview.org/article.php?id=2965 Quote

Members phkrause Posted November 21, 2009 Members Posted November 21, 2009 I wonder if they paid this commission? and if they did, they could've used the money to keep it open!!!! pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. pindoc Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Tisk, commissions always get paid. HSI is how I did senior Bible when I finished high school in Anchorage. Sad, to think of it closing. Sounds like the communication b/w church and school is very inadequate. And if the school's not keeping up with distance learning technology, they don't stand a chance of surviving too long. That's the real world. Quote Pindoc
Moderators LynnDel Posted November 21, 2009 Moderators Posted November 21, 2009 It is sad that a distance-learning educational opportunity would be closing, but I am not surprised, because it just wasn't keeping up with the times. I suppose they have a lot of competition now, with dozens of other choices for those who want or need to learn at home. LynnDel Quote LD
