LifeHiscost Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 ____Susan Boyle? # # Burbank Wed 04/15/09 12:04 AM Transcendent indeed. I was taken completely by surprise by Ms. Boyle. Having seen Les Miz many times I think this is the first time I understood and felt the full depth of that song. She is living proof that there are still wonderful, inspirational surprises to be had in an increasingly cynical world. Brava, Susan! Keep dreaming that dream. This is an excerpt from this web page. For those of you who would like a little inspiration, I encourage you to look in on her. http://popwatch.ew.com/2009/04/14/susan-boyle-why/ And if any of you feel like shedding a tear, you will only be one among millions. Remember when it was suggested we pray for her. I'm satisfied she's the recipient of a multiplied amount of God's grace. "And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”" 2 Kings 2:9 NKJV "# # Alexia Wed 04/15/09 12:16 AM Oh, good, I am not the only one who was blubbering this morning whilst watching Susan via YouTube. How utterly wonderful for her. I hope that this whole experience turns out to be everything she ever dreamed it could be. Why do I cry? I don’t know, but I do every single time I watch. Maybe it’s because we can be so mean-sprited. My heart sank when she walked out onto that stage. “Here we go,” I thought, “Putting some poor, delusional person on the stage for our amusement.” Then all the snarkyness and eye-rolling. It was sad. But, dang, didn’t she put them all in their place? Sometime, good people DO finish first. Whether or not she goes on to win this, she is already won so much. My $$ if she puts out a cd, lol!" GreatLakesGramma Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Of course I remember Susan Boyle. I have thought about buying her CD, even though I never listen to secular music. I hope she does an album of hymns or inspirational songs next. That one I would buy without the least hesitation. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. LifeHiscost Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 Now that is a good idea PK I so enjoyed the flabbergasted look on the faces of the judges on her first appearance on BGT. And don't you think Amanda Holden gave the impression that she was, every minute of the time Susan revealed herself to the onlookers, from her heart was pulling for Susan to do something special for the audience, something Simon voiced but left suspicions that he was playing catch-up. My last understanding of where Susan is in the light of her success as the media presents it, Susan has risen meteorically to the top of her profession after many years of obscurity, faster and higher than any other entertainment personality in history. And probably 80% is due to the presence of the internet globally. Something that is continuing to bode well for the spreading of the gospel. Hallelujah!!! "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14 KJV " Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain."James 5:7 KJV "Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."Ephesians 1:14 KJV Blessings!
