10 Years ago this month clubadventist.com was purchased, the forum began a few months later.

The first host only allowed us 25 megs of space, today we have 50 gigs of hard drive and are using about 15 gigs with files, plus our database is

729 megs

and has

837,139 rows

We have had 3 hosting companies

Since our move to the server we use now

Query statistics: Since its startup, 7,244,086 queries have been sent to the server.

There has been roughly $8,000 spent on hosting

There has been roughly $3,000 spent on domains

There has been roughly $14,000 spent on advertising

There has been roughly $1,500 for software and upgrades

There has been roughly $2,000 for paid technical support

Special thanks to those who help with the expenses.

Our income from the Amazon store is usually around $20 per month

I would suspect as many Topics and Posts have been deleted in the past as it slowed down the server, or the database was too large for our hosts.

just over 2,000 members were accidentally deleted in the past

there are 31 moderators

there are 3 administrators

I so appreciate the moderators and admins so much. They are all volunteers.

There have been roughly 240 This Week On Clubadventist created most of them by Gail, the ones with typos are generally done by me

Members have passed away, some have given birth, we have shared burdens and prayed for each other. Some have used this as their last stop of leaving the Church, others have used it as their first step home.

Others have threaten lawsuits, mostly from out side North America, except a couple. None have filed.

I have made many mistakes over the years, I have done things to hurt people, not intentionally, but it still happens.

I have let members stand, when it cost us other members, if only I could tell the future.

Some great Adventist have been interviewed here, people how make a significant difference. There are many more to come in 2010, I need help with that.

I had problems registering with Club Adventist when I first found it so I had to wait until I got a new computer. I am sure I could have done it with my old computer but had problems with my browser and lacked the energy to deal with it.

Club Adventist has been like a second church family to me and continues to be.

Well Happy Anniversary CA and Stan. If not for you I don't think this place keeps going. I remember the old SDA forum that Roger Blodgett ran, I believe that was his name? This forum definitely has surpassed that one Stan, and that forum was pretty good.
