Moderators Gerr Posted December 20, 2009 Author Moderators Posted December 20, 2009 I just got through shoveling snow from our driveway. After I had cleared a path just for the tires, a neighbor with his tractor came and cleared the whole thing except for the driveway that went to the back. Very nice of him. I haven't seen a bird go to the bread yet. Quote
Members phkrause Posted December 20, 2009 Members Posted December 20, 2009 I haven't even been able to get out there to snowblow, been baby sitting grandson. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted December 20, 2009 Members Posted December 20, 2009 I have a question. The East and Midwest are having heavy snowfalls and it's all over the national news. I'd like to know why the news didn't report the heavy snowfall the Pacific Northwest had last year at this time. It's like we don't exist here as far as national news goes. Quote Pam      Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 The Pacific North West is considered to be second class and out of the loop. They are just not considered to be relevant. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology. Â

Moderators Gerr Posted December 21, 2009 Author Moderators Posted December 21, 2009 MEN TEXANS 13 RAMS 10 dgrimm60 I used to live & die with the Rams when they were still in SoCal, and even for several years after they moved to St. Lo. I've given up on them. They have become the St. Louis Lions. Don't follow much pro football anymore. Just a waste of time. Quote

Members phkrause Posted December 21, 2009 Members Posted December 21, 2009 Hey Gerry, do you get birds at all? Or are they picketing your food? pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators Gerr Posted December 21, 2009 Author Moderators Posted December 21, 2009 I see a few on top of the tree (a little ways). One flew under our balcony in the back but apparently didn't see the food by the back stairs. Picketting my food? Maybe they consider it food of legalism and not given by grace? Quote
Members phkrause Posted December 22, 2009 Members Posted December 22, 2009 Hahahaha good one Gerry. Sometimes it takes them awhile to trust. We started our feeders a ways from the house and slowly brought them closer and closer. Now the feeders are about 25 feet or so from the house and they have gotten very used to us. It takes awhile Gerry don't be to discouraged. Do you have any feeders at all? You might want to start with that. As far as the bread, I hope you made the piece's very small. Hang in there, they will come and eat eventually. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Members phkrause Posted December 23, 2009 Members Posted December 23, 2009 Lets hope so dgrimm, because it could be stale by than. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators Gerr Posted December 23, 2009 Author Moderators Posted December 23, 2009 I moved the pan farther out in the open. Even added rice (uncooked) to the bread. Still no birds have noticed it. Quote
