"giving another person the benefit of the doubt." Although one can use up that grace or that gift by not returning the favor. It can get old after awhile. Sure ... there is the ideal and then there is the reality of the matter. Oh well. I suppose it is always nice to hold up the ideal. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. (No, that husband wasn't me. ) When asked what it was that made her stay, she pointed out she had children to consider and made me realize her unhappiness was secondary to their needs. I'm just wondering what it is, Redwood, that makes you continue enduring the dissatisfaction you express, while here on CA? Now my wife finally left her ex when a kindly pastor told her she should get out before she was destroyed by what she was undergoing. Perhaps that is not the solution for you, Redwood, but a talk with someone who truly cared about where you were going to spend eternity and who you would be happy to see there with you, might be a worthwhile goal. My grandfather always insisted that each hobo be fed because you never knew if one might be an angel in disguise.
