The object of this game (uh, I mean, "exercise") is to invent words or phrases to describe these concepts to a variety of different people. 1. Describe justification to people in a civilization with no legal system or words pertaining to one. 2. Describe sanctification to people who no word for "holiness" as we understand it. 3. Describe atonement to people who have no words for sacrifice, reconciliation or unity. You can form compound words in English to be translated into their native languages (as long as you don't use words for concepts that they don't have in their language, which are noted above). For example, "Great-person-who-made-everything" could mean "God". This is meant to generate thought and discussion, not debates over whose words are better.
