Moderators Gerr Posted February 5, 2010 Moderators Posted February 5, 2010 Last Friday's and Sabbath's snow has not even melted yet and the roads barely cleared up last few days and now I woke up this morning and the snow has covered up the driveway and the road again! Now it's raining. It will turn the roads into ice or slush. I doubt there will be church again tomorrow. The church parking lot has not even been cleared of last week's snow yet. Quote
SivartM Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Our snow was mostly melted by Tuesday, and everything except the remnants of snowmen has melted in the rain that has been going for almost a day now... Cosmin M. Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 It has melted for us... Now its all ice... Monday when I go back to school will be a wet one... Quote
Liz Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Our roads are cleared as long as you don't get out before 9:00am, we have been having freezing fog in the mornings, not fun at all. Our next wave is supposed to come in on Sunday, so maybe we will get to go to church--not sure yet. Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted February 5, 2010 Members Posted February 5, 2010 isn't it interesting that snow and ice is such a big deal in the East and down in Texas, but last year when it was so bad out here in the pacific nw nobody cared? Dottie Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I just heard that the National Weather Service issued a weather bulletin for D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. 20-30 inches before tomorrow night. Quote

LOL, its not a big deal here in the North East. We usually get snow and it stays all winter. Very rarely does it all melt before the next snow storm. This year its been a little different. It almost gets all gone and than we get another snow storm. So far this year its been pretty mild. Its actually great they can have it down south for a while, we don't mind sharing. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Dr. Shane Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 We had a beautiful chamber of commerce day today. Clear and sunny. The high was around 75ºF (24C). I am hoping for a repeat tomorrow. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity

Looking out of my window I thinK we've had about 15 so far so I guess we've still got 5-15 to go. My kids are beside themselves with joy!!!!! Woody Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 My neighbor is over here now with some sorta big tractor kinda rig. But we were snowed in with over a foot of snow. The Pastor couldn't get in or out so church was cancelled. Our neighbor is so amazing. Just when we are in need ... he seems to show up un-announced. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. SivartM Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 The ground was covered in snow this morning, but not enough to collect on the roads, so unfortunately we had to go to church today... Moderators LynnDel Posted February 7, 2010 Moderators Posted February 7, 2010 I saw a picture of some of those piles of snow in the news just now. Man, that stuff is WHITE! You kind of forget that when you don't see it for awhile. Reminds me of the Bible promise of how even the worst sins can be made as white as snow. Think of that! LD Quote LD
