Woody Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 This is a support board for those that are having their cars recalled. What have you done? What are you going to do? My car has not been recalled but they are discussing doing so. Are you having trouble sleeping at night? Do you sweat when you drive your automible? Are you embarrassed when people notice teh brand of your car? Do you take public trans instead of driving your car? Do you ride a bike instead? Do you ride with a friend? Have you started car pooling in your neighborhood? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Gail Posted February 5, 2010 Administrators Posted February 5, 2010 Do you have a Toyota? I read something yesterday about unhappy customers with the Prius. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 Yes. I do have a Toyota product. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Neil D Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I would never buy a Prius, simply because of its name... it reminds me of a urologic problem that men can get. Hey, Pam.... Aren't you being a bit calloused today???? I mean, come on, "men with urologic problems" in a car thread??? What are you trying to to do- immasculate men in general by denigrating their bodies and their 2nd favorite subject-cars??? Cosmin M. Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I use the bus to go and come from school. No, not the SCHOOL BUS, I am talking about public transportation. Quote

Have you started car pooling in your neighborhood? Well woody ain't that a shame. LOL What's the big deal about a recall? I have a Ford Explorer. A while back it had a recall for the speed control. They said that they would all of a sudden go on fire. All I did was call the Ford place and set up an appointment and brought it in, got it replaced. What's so hard about that? And by the way I never had any trouble with it, now it every once in a while it decides to either not turn on or when it is on it shuts it self off. I sometimes wished I had not had it replaced. So don't let yourself get all bent out of shape over this. Just call the dealer that they say to call in the letter and make the appointment, than bring it in. Like going to the doctor. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
