She has documented her struggle with cystic fibrosis on her blog. CBC made a documentary about her which my kids saw together at Christmastime. But now her blog is coming to an end, as she has only a couple days left of life on this earth. What I remember especially about her documentary are the paper hugs that one person sent her for her to use at her hospital bed. They were accordian-like and stretched around whoever needed them. She has Cystic Fibrosis... I mentioned that. She had one double-lung transplant but had problems with rejection, I think. What made me more sad was that her mother seemed to be relegated to the background, and wasn't in the picture very much at all.
