I wonder where and why our health reform message went into hiding? And please, no raging responses that laud vegetarianism. Good eating is only part of the package.

You are right, Alex, about it being a "package". I have a co-worker who eats pristinely but has stress in his life. He is sick a lot.

The right arm started to become too powerful compared to the rest of the message. Soon it found itself beating people over the head.

So, the rest of the message has asked it to tone it down, and be gentle for a change instead of smacking people and pushing them around.

So it seems, to those who are familiar with the old order of things, that the right arm is inactive. But it is not so. It is just that the rest of the "body" of the 3rd angel's message is being used more actively.

Who knows - maybe more people are approaching the total "body" of the 3rd Angel's Message without fear of getting knocked unconscious by a well-aimed blow from the right arm.

I don't like people telling me what I should eat and what I should do to be healthy. I already know. Been there. Done that. (except body building - yuck. Won't be there, won't do that.) Doing the best I can right now.

I agree. My view of the health message is that God has given us the ideal, and wants us to do our best under our own circumstances. It isn't always possible to do everything just right, and Sister White addressed that in her health writings too. Getting all stressed out about anything short of perfection isn't healthy, either emotionally, physically, or spiritually.

I know exactly how to eat and live in order to have the best health I can attain, but it's impossible to do it all, all the time. So I have to just do the best I can at any given time. Which right now isn't actually very well at all. My parents' needs are a higher priority at this time.

I don't ever recall coming across in her writing mandating that all pastors be healthy. I seem to recall, however, that pastors should set an example of a healthy eating habit. And I'm afraid too many are failing in that regard.
