Woody Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 A new study shows that those aged 55-59 are showing a rise in pot use. (according to a news station ... the one that has a reputation for being 'fair and balanced'.) What is happening to our Seniors. Can't they cope with their advanced age? Boy I'm glad I can announce that I'm not in THAT age group !!! Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted February 22, 2010 Administrators Posted February 22, 2010 ...trying to reclaim their youthful pursuits I would guess. Not surprising, really. Quote

Not surprising, really. Oh, how stupid can you get????? The reason that they are going to pot is a 2 fold process....They are getting old....and the future doens't look to bright...particularly if thier health isn't all that good... And those who are more familiar with the hospital personel than church members, have bills to match the egos of some conservative republicans who will not exercise compassion on people...."Distribution of wealth", my foot. The "woodstock generation" is so much in hock for thier illnesses, the only thing they CAN do is get high on pot... Moderators Bravus Posted February 22, 2010 Moderators Posted February 22, 2010 I suspect it's not that they're turning back to it, but that they've been smoking it all along and are just now getting into that age bracket. That is, a static pool of 50-59 year olds isn't suddenly taking up smoking dope, a generation of dope smokers is turning 50-59! Quote Truth is important
Dottie Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 And here I thought you were mentioning that little white container in the corner of my parents' bedroom, which was used only during winter months!!! Quote
karl Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 And here I thought you were mentioning that little white container in the corner of my parents' bedroom, which was used only during winter months!!! That would be a chamber pot or "thunder mug" as my dad used to call it. Quote
