nuff sed Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Will you be attending the General Conference session in Atlanta, George the end of June this year ? If so how about getting together at least once so that we might put some faces with names? So far the list is as follows (as far as I know). Don Aldridge Redwood As soon as we know how many then I will look for a place for us to meet. My suggestion is in the early evening July 1.. 'nuff sed Quote

You don't necessarily need to go to the meetings but you could just show up for the CA get together. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. SivartM Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 I live four or five hours away... not too far, but pretty far still. SivartM Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Yeah, but still, it'd be pretty far to drive just for the CA meeting. Besides, I love sitting through hours of meetings. :D Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted March 13, 2010 Administrators Posted March 13, 2010 Hopefully to welcome a new president. There is the strong possibility that you may need to learn a new language in which to express your welcome... Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

Moderators lazarus Posted March 13, 2010 Moderators Posted March 13, 2010 I think he may be retiring anyway. You may have not have a choice. Are we ready for our first President from a developing nation? I've never been to Canada so i'm not sure if that includes Canada. Dr. Shane Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 It is an 18 hour drive for us. If my sister-in-law from Costa Rica comes we make take vacation and go for a few days. I have the AA International Convention in San Antonio July 1-4 so if we go it would be for the beginning and not the end. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... nuff sed Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 Why can't we stick to the topic and just answer my question? I did not ask whether or not we should have a new president. Just tell me if you plan to attend. So far the number is two. 'nuff sed Quote
Moderators Bravus Posted March 14, 2010 Moderators Posted March 14, 2010 I won't be. Too far. Plus people keep telling me I'm not a real Adventist anyway. Quote Truth is important
