Nor am I waiting to see them "get theirs". Enough money and you can expect the leader of the US set out to deliberately humiliate you while at the white house. Obama has snubbed others as well. Many Adventists admire the Jews for keeping the Sabbath and eating a kosher diet. However Adventists are different from other Protestant denominations in one big way regarding the Jews. We do not believe the Jews are God's chosen people. We believe that the kingdom was taken away from them and given to the Gentiles or, better expressed, given to all who accept Christ by faith. While most Protestant denominations believe the end time events revolve around the state of Israel, Adventists see a spiritual Israel and a spiritual Babylon in the end time prophecies. Most Protestants believe the Jews are God's people and that the geographical nation of Israel is God's land. That is why they believe the US needs to be such close allies with Israel. However Adventists see Jews as being no better or worse than any other people. They are sinners in need of a Savior and do not have any divine preference granted to them.
