bonnie Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 for a mother to breast feed in public? should a mother cover the child with a blanket? Mother's have been doing that for a long time now. Most mother's that breast feed in public do so discreetly. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman

Ellen Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Even if it's legal to breastfeed in public what husband wants the "world" watching his wife's breast. Of course use a large t shirt or blanket. I've done it many times. Quote
olger Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Good point Ellen. Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
GreatLakesGramma Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I always did it wherever I happened to be, public, or private, but in public, nobody could ever tell, because I covered everything with a blanket. A couple of times, someone even asked to see the baby, not realizing that it wasn't an appropriate time. I don't see a problem with nursing a baby in public, but I do see a problem with exposing it.
