Administrators Gail Posted May 12, 2010 Administrators Posted May 12, 2010 We were on 2 waiting lists for a Vizsla pup... One dam (located in Alberta) didn't "take" and the other breeder (Seattle area) had some available only if others didn't want them. THEN, just this weekend, an ad came up in the paper of all things, from a breeder in the farmland just a half hour from our place! Puppies are purebred but not papered- way lower price! We went there and found: Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Administrators Gail Posted May 12, 2010 Author Administrators Posted May 12, 2010 Here are some recent pics of Spooky, too! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Neil D Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 What???? No glowing eyes with a glass look in them? What kind of dog show are you running here, Gail? Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Administrators Gail Posted May 13, 2010 Author Administrators Posted May 13, 2010 I'm afraid that there are no glowing eyes with this one, Neil. Cocoa's eyes are brown, but then his nose is reddish-brown and matches his coat. His name could easily have been Buster. While Spooky has a more delicate frame, this one's got hind legs like a bulldog and has seemingly no fear. Spooky is about 10x the size and bats him around with her powerful front legs. He rolls over and comes back for more. Rusty took them out today for some "bonding and bounding". They are quickly becoming attached. They tried sleeping together on the same bed but Spooky was too hyper still so hubby separated them. But I don't think it will be long before they are constant companions. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
