Woody Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Our neighbors across the road have chickens. The chickens like to come over and eat our bird seed that the birds reject. How does the chicken cross the road? I swear to you ... the chicken goes to the edge of this busy road and looks both ways before crossing the road in a straight line. Who taught these chickens to do this? Not us and not our neighbors. Are these chickens the brightest chickens in the world .... or do your chickens do the same? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Gail Posted May 12, 2010 Administrators Posted May 12, 2010 I wouldn't have thunk that chickens had much brains to them, but hey, you never know! I guess that one knows that if a car hits it then it won't get that good seed. karl Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Who taught these chickens to do this? Not us and not our neighbors. Are these chickens the brightest chickens in the world .... or do your chickens do the same? Our chickens aren't brave enough to cross. They just chicken out. They may be afraid they'll end up with egg on their face. Quote

Liz Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Awww, Woody, that's to bad. Are you going to take some chicken soup to your neighbor, along with an apology? Woody Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 Yeah. They ended up with chicken soup. But it wasn't really an apology. It was more like ... "come and get your dead chicken." Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
