jasd Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Cloud patterns: Any one having access to a satellite view of earth (Pacific Ocean) ought to tune in to observe a weird phenomenon occurring real time (5:20 PM Pacific time)... It appears that a ‘standing wave’ has been created running almost horizontally about 10 degrees South of the Equator and ending [it appears] at the apex (seems to be the near side of Indochina ...can’t really tell) of an acute angle of almost exactly 45 degrees that runs to the Antarctic. As the horizontal demarcation begins to collapse – tangential lines (of clouds, so many as to appear as striations) paralleling the line to the Antarctica are formed – with that line (standing wave?) becoming more pronounced... The entire phenomenon is collapsing – so hurry to observe the weird and weirder! Erratum: I found my world globe. The acute angle was formed at approximately New Guinea or Northern Australia. Oops... The satellite providing my TV channels has a channel dedicated to classical music and a real-time view of earth from thousands of miles above earth. I noticed the configuration about 5:00 PM Pacific time. By 6:00 PM it had almost entirely collapsed. The [man-made] 'standing wave' acts as an invisible 'wall' - prohibiting clouds from passing through - so, what one sees is a buildup of clouds on one side with an absence of clouds on the other side. Clouds coming in off the Pacific dropped all their moisture, as rain, on the one side of the wave – with drought conditions prevailing on the landward side. Oh well, speaking of weird, how strange, or should I say, “Alarming!”?—that there might be a correlation between the seeming weather-jinking and agricultural conditions; and, that this ‘correlation’ may extend to and exacerbate the following... “Do you realize that the National Inflation Association says that fresh and dry vegetables are up 56.1% in price in the last year?
