Stan Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 As I have mentioned before, we are constantly under 'brutal attacks' from various parts of the world trying to hack in to our server. I thought about blocking these countries, but it turns out they are also using proxies in North American. Here is the problem, the operating system we are using, is to old for the blocking software, to update it would wipe our all of our data and database. SO they are suggesting we move to a new server, even if it is with the the same host. Sounds good so far. right.. Except it is going to cost at least $200.00 to hire a service to move us. We will add you as a thank you notice to anyone who contributes $15 or more. I also need to move theologyreview.com and some other member blogs over as well. Please help us out. AND the down time on this should really drop.
