We especially like the pasor and the way he is willing to answer questions to the best of his ability. The people at this church are very sweet people and we have made some very good friends already, and it has been only about a month and a half now. I have to say that hubby and I never thought that we would ever find a church that believes in so much of the same things that we do when it comes to the Bible and such. I know it isn't really important but I just thought I would post this. Quote

I have read and heard a lot about SDA and it just doesn't seem to jibe with what I have seen so far, the bad stuff anyway. I have just about finished the book about the 28 beliefs and I really like it because it is proven by what the Bible says. We are seriously thinking about being baptised in this church, but neither one of us make hasty decisions, especially when it comes to something as important as this. I was raised as a Catholic and a Episcapalian (sp?). Hubby was raised as Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints. Both of us have studied the Bible a lot on our own and it was difficult, at best, to actually find a church that believed as we did, for the most part anyway. The only other one that we had found that was even close was The Living Church of God, but they are so very fundamental and it seems that they are actually closer to being Messianic Jews than what we were looking for. I will keep you updated about our jouney. Quote
