The BS was so thick you couldn't cut it with a knife. He said that BP had not been allowed to do anything that his administration had not told them to do. And that they were the ones responsible for the fix. LOL. What's he going to do now that what he took full credit for has failed? Will he tell the truth, and say he was just lying through his teeth? LOL. I doubt it. Now he will probably put it back on BP, and say they messed up and did something without his say so.

I see Obama trying to reassure the people what is happening, and trying to contrast that to the Katrina disaster from the previous president. And the nature of the disaster is totally different than what we are currently used to...Hurricanes we have experience with...underwater oil spills that over a 5K deep is something totally different... Can you do better? Do you know someone who can do better? Let him take the limelight? If he is the least bit liberal in his politics, he's wrong. If he is conservative, he can do no wrong. For some reason, you think that liberals are some sort of satanist, whose primary goal is the destruction of the world....And that is so far from the truth, it's fanatical... I agree with you Neil, I did hear part of that press conference and came away with those same thoughts. As far as your 2nd statement, I think that's pretty self explanatory. karl Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 They are still trying to salvage the well. Cap and siphon allows them to retrieve most of the oil leaking from the well. They need to just blow it up about 100 feet below the ocean floor - cave in the top of it - and give up on getting any oil out of it.
