Woody Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 WEll ... 'some' might travel 'over seas' to get to Canada. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Stan Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 it reminds me off so many conversations with the NAD "you are in Canada, you need to create your own......" Am thinking, I thought the NAD was to serve more all the countries in the NAD. or "we don't have enough money to do one for Canada too" Yet, the Canadian share of tithe goes there right?? Reminds (a lot) me of when they were happy to take money from all Churches and folks, but the black folks could not go to the WAH. You know "you people get your own". Administrators Gail Posted May 31, 2010 Administrators Posted May 31, 2010 Not iPods... Stan is talking about iPads. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Members phkrause Posted May 31, 2010 Members Posted May 31, 2010 Not iPods... Stan is talking about iPads. I think what he's saying is that Canada is not overseas? But I could be wrong! All I know is that the few times that I've gone to Canada through Maine, I took the Bluenose (I believe that's the correct name) so I guess in that case it was overseas. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Woody Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Yes dgrimm ... Canada is certainly a DIFFERENT country. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Gail Posted May 31, 2010 Administrators Posted May 31, 2010 You mean Canada is a whole nuther country? If I stuffed you full of poutine, would you start to think so then? Administrators Gail Posted June 1, 2010 Administrators Posted June 1, 2010 Poutine is French Fries with cheese curds and gravy. I don't like french fries any other way! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
GreatLakesGramma Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 That does not sound appealing to me at all! Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. Administrators Gail Posted June 2, 2010 Administrators Posted June 2, 2010 You mean that you eat neither gravy nor cheese with your potatoes? The cheese curds are cheddar cheese, just without the colouring. You see? Canada IS a foreign country! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
GreatLakesGramma Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I sometimes eat gravy with potatoes, but never with French fries, and never in combination with cheese. Of course, I don't actually eat French fries any more anyway. I prefer my potatoes steamed, with onions and herbs, and a little bit of olive oil. Guest Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I would try it. Back in the day, it would have been good for the munchies. Quote
