If that is true, we have elected Representatives in Congress and a Supreme Court to correct him.

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

I think the same was said of President Bush.

So what? If there had been any actionable evidence Pelosi et al would have acted on it. There is a difference between loose talk and actual evidence.

Your tendentious repetition of "what others say" is vacuous and fatiguing.

The Constitution does not empower the President or the Executive branch to demand money from private parties to be placed in a fund to be dispersed at the sole discretion of the executive branch. Nor has any enabling legislation been passed. The same is true of setting compensation levels for employees of private companies--or even of executive branch departments, for that matter.

On second reading, this statement is even more vacuous than it first appears. A President who ignores the law, and whose party controls congress and refuses even to put up a budget resolution (contrary to law), and who arrogates to himself the right to lecture the Supreme Court in public demonstrates that he refuses to be constrained by the law.

The Founders understood that an informed and alert citizenry was the only safeguard against lawless government. Your continued lullabies make it clear the republic is in even greater danger.

I don't fear Obaama, or even the power-hungry Congress. It's the compliant and complicit citizenry that poses the clear and present danger.
