karl Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 How many of you still remember how to do the Hokey Pokey Dance? Do you lie awake at night worrying that the Hokey Pokey really might BE what it's all about? Quote
SivartM Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Of course I do! That's what it's all about. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

GreatLakesGramma Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out; You put your right foot in, and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about! Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. Administrators Gail Posted June 20, 2010 Administrators Posted June 20, 2010 Will the Hokey Pokey make a good day out of a bad one? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
karl Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Will the Hokey Pokey make a good day out of a bad one? Woody has already testified that Blanche is "agin" it. How could it possibly be useful? Quote
Woody Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 What I meant to say was that Blanche won't allow ME to do any Hokey Pokeying. But I'm not sure if she does it on her own. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Does the Hokey Pokey really qualify as a solitary activity? I have never tried the Hokey Pokey on my own. I just can't see me getting a recording of the Hokey Pokey song and going through the motions in my living room by myself. Anybody ever done this? Quote

Someone made a recording of the Hokey Pokey???? That is really one of the funniest things ever!!! I just can't imagine anyone going to a recording studio and doing that--That is hilarious! GreatLakesGramma Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 No, you can't do the Hokey Pokey by yourself. You have to have enough people to make a circle, or how can you put your foot, arm, etc., in and out of it? Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. Woody Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Well ... maybe she doesn't do it alone. But she might do it with someone other than ME. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Neil D Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 No, you can't do the Hokey Pokey by yourself. You have to have enough people to make a circle, or how can you put your foot, arm, etc., in and out of it? I can't believe I am letting this one go..... You all can do your hokeying and pokeying anyways you wants to.... ...I, OTOH, will keep it to myself... Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. GreatLakesGramma Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Well, Neil, I supposed you could go out to a cow pasture & find a cowpie to put your foot, arm, etc., into.
