Hi Dgrimm,

This organization forecast the 2008 crash over a year in advance as I recall. And the exact month about six months before it arrived. So the governments & banks were duplicitous when they claimed the fall was unexpected. No warning for the people. Instead, "Spend, spend, vote for me".

No warning from the churches either. David Gates was the only voice I heard to raise this alarm.

You sound like it's some sort of 'revelation"....I tend to think that it was some sort of self fulfilling prophesy...'Cus if all the experts were talking about it, those who were wise in following the experts would have followed suit and removed thier moneys....

So, do you think this guy is really close to God and is some sort of prophet?

I am just curious and ,admitedly, a bit skeptical....

Hi Neil,

Yes it was first revealed to me in the Great Controversy (years ago), but this more recent find (LEAP) is notable for its consistent forecast of financial markets.

And I believe the 'wiser' people (the wealthy) adjusted their portfolios in advance - then invested at the bottom of the dip. Even Prime Minister Harper had the nerve to suggest (with a smirk, in a national interview) that there were good opportunities for trading... while millions across the land faced foreclosure and bankruptcy. Obviously he was speaking to those with deep pockets.

Not sure which guy you mean. LEAP reports economic & related social trends affecting Europe in several languages - I've not noticed any religious claims.

David Gates is an international businessman dealing with many currencies and governments. As an SDA he's more aware of prophecy and as a pilot he spends time at higher altitude...?
