Administrators Gail Posted June 25, 2010 Administrators Posted June 25, 2010 It's too bad they are sideways... What kind of bird are they, can you tell? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 I'm sorry. I just haven't learned how to correct it to be right-side up. I'm just not a techy. And yes ... they are doves. They come to our porch each year to have their babies. We have been watching them for days. The mother and the father took turns laying on the eggs. Each day I take the basket down to water the flowers. Sometimes the parent flys off. Other times they stay. The Mother actually seems to be more comfortable with me. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
SivartM Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Cool! :D Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." - Jesus
Liz Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 How precious!! It is so neat that the mother feels comfortable around you to let you water things, without disturbing them. I think it is so neat when we can gain a wild thing's trust, and still allow them to be wild. Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Woody Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 Thanks pk. Today I went out and petted the baby while she was alongside the mother. The mother never even flinched. They are so used to me coming each day to water the plants. I am amazed at how fast they are growing: Quote May we be one so that the world may be won.
