Woody Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 This is a first in our church: http://www.spectrummagazine.org/blog/2010/06/29/another_woman_ordained_pastoral_ministry_china Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted July 1, 2010 Administrators Posted July 1, 2010 Interesting to read about her. It would seem that ordaining her was the right thing to do. And what a wonderful vision of the portable seminary. Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

Woody Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 Tonight they had some official representing the church in China speaking. I thought it was interesting that occasionally he would lead the sessions in clapping for the comments he said. He did this on three different occasions ... even after he was done and leaving. I suppose it's just part of their culture. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 No. Women aren't that arrogant. lol Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Woody Posted July 2, 2010 Author Posted July 2, 2010 BTW ... my wife tells me that she went to the Seminary with this woman who was ordained. And she has glowing stories of the dedication and sacrifices of this woman. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
