Stan Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Palau Survivor For those not aware, the Princess Alisha did spend two years in Koror, Palau as a Missionary. One time as a student, the other time as a regular missionary. One more (of soooo very very many) reason why she is such a special princess, and why I am so very proud of her. Pockey Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 As soon as I read this, the song by Paul Simon "Father and Daughter" popped into my head. I think you'd like it Stan! Actually I think a lot of Dad's w/ daughters will like it. If anyone wants it, pm me and I will e-mail it to you. Quote
alisha Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks dad. Yep I am one of the real Palau survivors! Those two years were tough but amazing. I miss it. Its neat seeing the opening of Survivor because I can say - whoa I explored that blown up building or hey! i took a picture on that blown up rock island! Its such a beautiful place. Hawaii is amazing too but nothing can compare to the waters of Palau. Last week was the first time I ever watched an entire Survivor episode! I had predicted to myself that they would choose Palau. I wonder if they will show anything about the people and culture. I bet they wanted to be private about it but it would be neat to see! Quote
Stan Posted February 25, 2005 Author Posted February 25, 2005 can others understand why I am so proud of her and my other two kids????? Far better than I deserve, or what I dreamed of.
