MariaS Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Everyone longs to give himself to someone to have a deep soul relationship with another, to be loved exclusively and thoroughly. But to the Christian, God says “NO, not until you are satisfied and fulfilled with living loved by ME alone. NOT until you gave yourself totally and unreservedly to ME and experience on intensely personally and unique relationship with ME alone. I love you, MY child and until you discover that only in ME is your satisfaction to be found, you will not be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be truly united with another until you are united with ME-exclusive of any greater desire and longings. I want you to stop planning, stop your wishful thinking and allow ME to give you the most thrilling plan existing-one that you cannot imagine. I want you to have the BEST. Please allow ME to bring it to you. You keep watching ME, expecting the greatest things. Keep the satisfaction, knowing that I AM learning and listening to the things I tell you and you must be willing to wait.“Don’t be anxious and don’t worry. Don’t look at the things you think you want. Just keep looking off and away and up to the things I tell you, and you must be willing to wait”. “And then when you are ready, I will surprise you with a love far more wonderful than you could ever dream. You see, until you are ready, and the one I have for you is ready (I AM working right this minute to have both of you ready at the same time), and until you are both satisfied exclusively with ME and the life I have prepared for you, you won’t be able to experience the godly love that illustrated your relationship with ME. THIS IS PERFECT LOVE” “And my dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love. I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with ME and enjoy the everlasting union of beauty and perfection and love that I offer you MYSELF. I LOVE YOU utterly, I AM God almighty. BELIEVE AND BE SATISFIED.” Author Unknown Quote The rules of life - Love and serve God - Remember choices, not circumstances, determine the flavor of our lives - Live each day so that you'll never be afraid of tomorrow nor ashamed of yesterday
MariaS Posted July 14, 2010 Author Posted July 14, 2010 Only nice dear? I though this is very encouraging and touching on how much God loved us and he wants us to have the BEST. A godly married couple gave this to me and I put it on my pic Album..been there since 2001. Quote The rules of life - Love and serve God - Remember choices, not circumstances, determine the flavor of our lives - Live each day so that you'll never be afraid of tomorrow nor ashamed of yesterday
LifeHiscost Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 And perhaps reading 1 Corinthians 13 from a contemporary translation and asking God to make it a reality in one's life will bring it to pass, sooner than later. "IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such [a]as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God's love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody). Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing. Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth]. For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect). But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood by God]. And so faith, hope, love abide [faith--conviction and belief respecting man's relation to God and divine things; hope--joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love--true affection for God and man, growing out of God's love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love:, EAGERLY PURSUE and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest];" 1 Corinthians 13;14:1 AMP Joy! Overaged Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I really enjoyed this post! It was excellent - and before I was even half way through it - I stared thinking how someone already married and having travelled this Godly path already, must have written it. You can't write something like this unless you have already had the amazing experience of true love with Jesus; and then with another person. This post reminded me of what God has done in my life - and how He gave me my wife "just for such a time." Next week, we have our 21st wedding anniversary! Thankyou Lord! Overaged Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 OveragedYou are right and congratulation for your 21st wedding anniversary. I am indeed happy for you. The message in this poem has sustained me to wait until now for the right partner. I am glad I did Thankyou; and I am sure everyone here also is happy for you and Richard! Your level of committment is inspiring. Perhaps I could share something that I feel has helped us for the last 21 years. I think this is something that could apply to people who are not yet married too. It is a sweet heart prayer that I have used since we got married. It's hanging on the wall right where I can see it every morning when I get up. You can just change "she" or "her" to "he" or "him;" and then choose a scripture verse for the top that is for guys. Sweetheart Prayer "Strength and dignity are her clothing; and she smiles at the future." Prov 31:25, NASB Dear Heavenly Father up above Please protect the one I love Always keep her safe and sound No matter where or when shes found Help her to know Help her to see That I love her And she loves me Keep us now Keep us forever Happy - loving Always together (help me Lord to "do all things for the sake of the gospel, that I may become a fellow partaker of it." - 1Cor 9:23) Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..." MariaS Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 If you have found a smile, that is the weetest one you have known, if you have heard within a voice the echos of your own, if you have felt a touch that stirs the longing of your heart, and stil can feel that closeness in the moment you are apart, if you have filled with wonder at the way two lives can blends, To wave a perfect pattern tht is seamless, end to end, If you belive some things in life are simply mean to be, Then you have found your soul mate, your hears own destiny. Overaged Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 It is truly a marvellous thing the way two lives can blend. Thankyou for reminding us of this amazing fact by submitting this poem! I had reached a point of utter frustration in trying to find the right one, and I decided to just give up, and let God surprise me someday; if it was His intention that I marry. And no kidding! It wasn't a month later when I met my wife at a place where we were both working in a nursing related field! God loves to surprise us when He knows we are ready!
