Neil D Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I am curious as to the comments made here... Can you say whatever you want and you don't care what happens but you provoke some profound thoughts in the process? Is this place a reflection of most current adventist attitudes and you are not sure that you like those attitudes or thoughts? Is this a place where prayer and comfort are provided? Just how safe do you feel here? Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Moderators Bravus Posted July 8, 2010 Moderators Posted July 8, 2010 I think my answer would be very different if I was in denominational employ. I cherish that freedom. I feel I *could* say anything I wanted, but I do voluntarily censor myself out of friendship and courtesy for others. Truth is important

SivartM Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Of course, someone who contributes to unsafety would say that they can say whatever they want, and what's the problem? Woody Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 probably very true May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Dottie Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I always try to be careful what I say, no matter where. Also, I don't post so much; but then I don't talk much when I am in a group, either.

Taylor Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I say that in the end...truth will triumph....although a lot of bad things will happen in between. Jesus is coming soon then we won't have to worry about who knows what about us.

Neil D Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 Well folks, it's been 2 days since I posted this and we got 18 people to respond.... ....I wonder how many of the lukers here are willing to commit to a poll...... Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Outta Here Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Um. Lurkers cannot vote in polls. Willingness to commit means willingness to cough up funds to pay for membership.
Neil D Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 Well, we had 21 people take the poll...and you can see the results.... ....and yet, as of the moment that I write this, we had 310 hits on this thread.... Interesting stats.... Thanks to all who participated in this thread..... Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Moderators Bravus Posted July 16, 2010 Moderators Posted July 16, 2010 Maybe they didn't feel safe enough to vote. Truth is important
