Life will change along the way..as we walk along this thorny road of life.. circumstances will change us.

When I was young, I know what is the meaning of pain when my fingers is hurting and bleeding, I knew what was hunger when I have to wait for mother to prepare meals and I learn what is like to want when I have to wait for my father to give me money.

Life changed eversince I learn to do all by myself and able to avoid hurt and bleeding. Being capable doing them my own made me forget how it was to feel hungry, hurt and less tolerant to such things.

I pray we will not be numbed with hunger, pain and thirst after righteousness and truth. We shall always remember that the thorny road we are traveling in is a GREAT CONTROVERSY between evil and good and we are incapable of defending and wining without GOD.

I agree with you Rudywoofs, and thank you. This was started with a poem and eventually some bible tesxs. That was the reason why it was in here..the poem, which I think was a light stuff to digest. (Smile)

Marie,I'm aware of your willingness to think with a bible text as a reason for your conclusions. There is a quote that says those whose minds are not fortified with the Word of God, will not stand through the time of trouble. That doesn't say whoever that is who falls behind in that category, will fail of achieving eternal life, but it does appear to point to loss of some sort if we're not able to give a good reason for our hopeful conclusions, based on solid evidence of Divine nature why we believe the way we do.

I appreciate your biblical references to indicate where you're coming from.

Today, when I woke up from my nap..it was pass sabbath hour and I sensed a deep longing for a peaceful life..a life that promises less stress and belonging..a life that promise loughter and joy..no sorrows and tears.. not seperation

I looked out side of my windows and stared at the dark sky..I heard the birds singing and the ochestra of forest and its inhabitents and the dark shadow of the hill opposite my window..the poluted town air I breath in..all these create a deep longing in me for heaven..I can not wait..and all our life journey and rough road will end soon..dear God..do come soon and forgive us for failing to prepare the way of your return, we are trying our best and thanks for the daily strength you gave us..Amen.
