Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted July 19, 2010 Members Posted July 19, 2010 This is really nice... Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
LifeHiscost Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 It is beautiful, Rudy, but it makes me sad. Because I see what they lost as a result of worshiping other Gods than the one true God. It would be interesting to know what line of past history they came from, after Adam and Eve. Blessings! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
SivartM Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 That's so beautiful, Rudywoofs! I love native music. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." - Jesus
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted July 19, 2010 Administrators Posted July 19, 2010 I recall the person in charge of Native American ministries for NAD say that a close examination of the spiritual beliefs and stories of many of the Native American cultures that you would find many similarities and parallels to our own. To conclude that they did not worship the "true God" wouldn't necessarily be correct. They may not have had the same revelations of God as Judeo-Christians, but the Great Spirit that they believed in and worshiped would seem more like the God we worship than "other gods". Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

I hear you Tom, not that LHC is wrong but I agree with your assessment. Obviously many cultures have deteriated (sp) as the years have gone by.
