Woody Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 How do we demonstrate that we are Christian? Should others have to ASK if we are Christian? Are we Christians by what we DO or who we KNOW? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
SivartM Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I think that being a Christian means following Jesus... so if you love God, you are a Christian. Can someone who does not identify as a Christian be a Christian? Quote "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar WildeDo to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." - Jesus

Members phkrause Posted September 4, 2010 Members Posted September 4, 2010 How do we demonstrate that we are Christian? Should others have to ASK if we are Christian? Are we Christians by what we DO or who we KNOW? I think that both apply. Some people talk and don't DO, others actually talk and DO. Those that DO I believe actually KNOW him very well. In that respect I think that doing and knowing goes hand in hand. Jesus did say that people would know we are his disciples by what we do and say. I believe that's correct, or it is something to that effect. OK it just came to me, If we love each other than others will know that we are his Disciples (Christians). :) Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
