Baptismal Stories

Maybe it's a 'pipe dream' but for several years I have wanted to write a book which would be a compilation of humorous stories surrounding the very serious subject of "Baptism"..Suggested title: "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Baptistry".. Some of the funniest incidents in the life of Pastors have dealt with baptism. I have tried several times within my own conference to have pastors relate their stories...............but to no avail. I have asked for permission to add the request to various pastors' communications from the GC on down with no success. I know that there are but a few pastors on this forum.. So few that I no longer see a section for pastors so I turn to you. Perhaps YOU have an interesting story...I have several, but not enough for a book. All I can offer is credit for the story if I can use it. I don't want' third-party' stories. They should be ones where you were present. It is interesting that I received more encouragement and offer of assistance from the "Fellowship of Merry Christians" than I did from my own denomination. nuff sed...
