Ted Oplinger Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Ummm, Woody...it certainly appears like you're drooling on your keyboard over a possible candidate run..... Quote "As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17 "The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Waggoner, The Glad Tidings "Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway" - John Wayne "The person who pays an ounce of principle for a pound of popularity gets badly cheated" - Ronald Reagan

Woody Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 Okay. My drooling is over. But I DO hope she returns to Iowa soon. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Dr. Shane Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I would be surprised if she didn't run. However I doubt she actually thinks she will get the nomination. (I don't think Obama expected to get the nomination either) Some people run because by so doing they gain enough influence that they can use their endorsement to get themselves a cabinet position. I think Palin would make a fine Energy Secretary. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Members phkrause Posted September 25, 2010 Members Posted September 25, 2010 Most didn't think he would get the nomination, but I did, I thought that the country would vote in a African American before they would vote in a woman. Dr. Shane Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Obama was very wet behind the ears. He may be the most inexperienced to have been elected President and it is showing. He has been getting his on-the-job training. I voted for him because McCain was not an acceptable alternative. As bad has Obama is, McCain would have been worse. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
