Neil D Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Church Applied: In Motion Not sure how to bring this up so that the video launches from here...Maybe Stan or Amelia can give me a bit of info as to how to do that... This video has some rather interesting POV regarding involving the church in community....I would rather see a church involved in community and making an impact like community gardening or bikers or community Chaplin for a boating association...than to exist on a corner attempting to quietly becken people into the church pews thru non-involvement...IOWs, if you know more people in church than in the community, you ain't allowin' the HS to use you.... So, I have just made another outrageous statement regarding what the church [aka YOU] should be doing.....Shoot me... Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 18, 2010 Members Posted September 18, 2010 I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes of the video. They kept saying what they were going to show, but then kept blabbing on and on. I got bored and turned it off. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Like you ... I got bored ... but for some unknown reason .... I stuck with it. But it never improved. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
GreatLakesGramma Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 It's an introductory video, introducing a series that will tell stories. I wasn't bored. Of course, I was knitting while I watched, which always helps. I would like to see the videos they're going to make. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
