The video below is a Muslim cleric explaining a rationale for a technique of conversion that is based on the literal interpretation of the Koran.

There has been a lot of talk about the Bible being the only absolute truth and that everything must be reasoned from that truth.

Islam teaches the same thing except the Koran plays the role of absolute truth. I think you will understand why it is futile to even argue with a Muslim about their beliefs because they hold so tightly to the Koran that there is no external standard that can trump it, no matter how illogical the Koran position is.

This teaching that he presents is pretty scary because it means that there really isn't any such thing as moderate Islam. And it means there is really no negotiation because apparently lying is acceptable as long as one is converted to Islam.

Here is a video on lying. This demonstrates the hypocrisy of grand themes. You can lie if you are converting someone, but it is evil otherwise. This is much like God condemns murder, but He orders innocent children killed or enslaved.
